An amazing start, this one has potential to be a big hit in the detective genre. I manage to conclude two of four scenes in this demo. Here is my gameplay

Grim Beard's latest video introduced me to this game. I love detective games, so I played the demo on Steam and thought I'd give my thoughts here.

I'm very picky with detective games, but I really liked this demo! Before I began playing it, the visual style made me think of 2001's The Diamond Mystery of Rosemond Valley (despite me only ever having watched other people play that older game) in a good way. Bringing me back to a nostalgic, dreamlike feeling of being alone in a giant--almost overwhelmingly large--world to explore as I solve a mystery.

Playing the game itself, I like that the player character has companions to talk to and bounce ideas off of. It feels like I have someone to turn to for help, but solving things are still left up to me. I feel unnerved walking around, like I'm being watched, or that something unexpected could happen at any moment, but not so scared that I can't play the game myself. It's a good vibe.

The demo requires a lot of methodical thinking to make deductions, which I really like. The notebook lets me type in my own notes, and I feel like not enough detective games let me do that.

Plus, you have a cute tracking dog you can hand objects to to sniff! I love that. This game is now on my Steam Wishlist, and I'll be looking forward to its release.

Played an earlier iteration of this, very excited to see how it has grown. People need to try this.

Hey there, trying out this demo and I've gotten very stuck. I've walked through the garden dozens of times and I think I've found pretty much everything, including the blood, the drag marks, the trampled flowers, the chalky stuff, the invitation, the cotton, and the petals with the ACR reading. I've talked to everyone about everything that I can currently. All of the case sections are grey, so I don't think I'm supposed to be solving that right now but I also don't know what other evidence I'm supposed to be able to find or how to get to other parts of the map (inside of museum, shed, locked off sections of garden, etc). Whatever the way forward is, I don't know what it's meant to be. I really want to finish this because I love detective games so any clarifications would be greatly appreciated!

There's more to find and it is possible to solve one scene section in the demo, but it is not necessary. The demo doesn't extend beyond the museum grounds, and all those other places are saved for the full game which is going to be on Steam.
